Specialized Support (Household Pet)

Service Description

Vet-directed support and recovery care for pets requiring structured monitoring, specialized treatment, or post-operative assistance. Recovery Support: Administration of oral medications, injections, eye and ear treatments, wound care, bandage changes, and post-operative monitoring for vitals, pain, incision health, and mobility. Observation & Updates: Includes comfort and mobility checks. Basic needs like feeding, fresh water, and relief breaks or litter box/habitat maintenance are completed as health and time permit. A detailed care summary report, update, and photo are provided with each visit. Eligible Animals: Available for dogs, cats, small household pets (rabbits, mice, rats, ferrets, birds), reptiles, and aquatics with written veterinary care orders. *All orders and tasks must be verified with the prescribing veterinarian prior to any services being provided. Base fee covers intensive care for one pet. An additional pet may be added on, depending on care needs of initial pet and time required to perform tasks.
