Services range from routine estate monitoring (such as perimeter walkthroughs, weather-related checks, and overnights) to specialized support for those requiring more complex vet-directed care routines, medication management, or post-procedure recovery assistance.
The Owner and Founder: Kree
Founding Brass Tacks has allowed me to blend my lifelong passion for animal care with the skills I developed as a former RN, creating a meaningful and practical way to serve our community. Nearly a decade of experience in Home Health and Case Management- along with time in L&D, hospice, and oncology- gave me a strong foundation in navigating complex routines within private homes and documenting details clearly.
My goal is to be a reliable resource for local owners who need professional support with property oversight and individualized care needs. I’m dedicated to offering structured services that fill gaps many families face and providing clients with peace of mind. A deep sense of responsibility to those I serve and pride in my work guide the way I show up for every visit.
I live here in Castle Rock with my musically inclined teenage son and our opinionated cat. Outside of my business- I enjoy antiquing, reading, mycology, and experimenting with hydroponics.
The Inspiration: Bathory a.k.a. Baby
Pure cat energy. Baby is prone to late-night zoomies, loves batting around anything on the floor, and is most content perched in a window surveying her kingdom. She’s also extremely vocal and will fight you for the heating pad!
