The Concept
Advanced pet and equine care designed to support clients with higher‑need routines in their homes. Services include veterinarian‑ordered and owner-directed tasks such as medication administration, wound care, and intensive monitoring for post-procedure or post-travel concerns.
I am currently offering standard dog and cat visits while I build my advanced and equine caseload.
The Owner and Founder: Kree
Founding Brass Tacks has allowed me to blend my lifelong passion for animal care with the skills I developed as a former RN, creating a meaningful and practical way to serve our community. Nearly a decade of experience in Home Health and Case Management- along with time in L&D, hospice, and oncology- gave me a strong foundation in navigating complex routines, coordinating care, and documenting details clearly.
My goal is to be a reliable resource for pet and horse owners who need support with veterinarian‑ordered tasks and specialized care in the home environment. I’m dedicated to offering structured services that fill gaps many families face and to provide clients with peace of mind. A deep sense of responsibility to those I serve and pride in my work guide the way I show up for every visit.
The Inspiration: Bathory aka Bathy
Bathy is pure cat energy. She's prone to late night zoomies, loves crawling around under blankets, and is most content perched in a window surveying her kingdom. She’s also extremely vocal and will fight you for the heating pad.
